Coto de Caza, CA (CotoLifestyle.com) June 8, 2010 LACROSSE...FUELING THE FUTURE What once was a small niche of lacrosse players has now developed into hundreds of boys and girls teams to become the fastest growing sport in the country. Kevin Melgren a 7th grader from Coto de Caza, California started playing Lacrosse 3 years ago. Having participated in football, baseball and soccer in the past has always enjoyed playing sports, but it wasn't until he experienced Lacrosse did he find his true passion...He was hooked! Currently, Kevin is playing with the Saddleback Scorpions team in Orange County. Kevin and his father Rick saw an opportunity to become an even bigger part of this fast growing sport...a business opportunity to develop a new lacrosse apparel line that would translate and give off a "West Coast Vibe". Their goal was to create clothing that represented the West Coast lacrosse player... "WestCoastStyleLax.com" was born. The style has got the attention of some big name players too. Kevins favorite player Kyle Harrison has shirts and caps and wears them when he is not representing his sponsors. We get east coast people, now living the west coast lifestyle sending our tees back home to rub it in. |
